I think this article could prompt companies to consider extending their WFH strategy. Most companies are getting a (long overdue) taste of WFH. And I think most of them, big and small, like the taste.
But being fully mobile and remote may not be sustainable without decent and affordable healthcare insurance.
Unfortunately, that WFH umami will entice more c-level wonks to switch FTEs to independent contractor status. And typically there’s no healthcare insurance for ICs.
